Rennes Secures Enzo Le Fee in €25 Million Permanent Deal, Officially Confirmed

Rennes have announced the signing of midfielder Enzo Le Fee from Lorient on a five-year contract. Enzo Le Fee Frenchman joins the Ligue 1 club for a reported fee of €25 million, making him one of the most expensive transfers in Rennes' history.

Le Fee, who came through the youth ranks at Lorient, made his senior debut in 2018 and has since established himself as one of the most promising talents in French football. He scored six goals and provided eight assists in 36 appearances for Lorient last season, helping them avoid relegation from the top flight.

Le Fee is known for his creativity, vision and technical ability, as well as his versatility to play in various midfield roles. He has also represented France at various youth levels, winning the UEFA European Under-19 Championship in 2019.

Rennes, who finished sixth in Ligue 1 last season and qualified for the Europa Conference League, have been looking to strengthen their squad ahead of the new campaign. They have already signed goalkeeper Loïc Badiashile from Monaco and defender Birger Meling from Nimes.

Le Fee is expected to compete with Eduardo Camavinga, Steven Nzonzi and Benjamin Bourigeaud for a place in Rennes' midfield. He will wear the number 10 shirt at his new club.

Rennes' official website confirmed the deal on Friday, stating: "Stade Rennais F.C. is delighted to announce the arrival of Enzo Le Fee. The midfielder has signed a contract until 2026 with the Red and Blacks. Welcome Enzo!"
