Hyundai Santa Fe 2024 release date

Hyundai has unveiled the 2024 Santa Fe, a midsize SUV that features a completely redesigned exterior and interior. The new Santa Fe adopts a more boxy and rugged look, inspired by the brand's off-road heritage and its recent concept vehicles. The new model also offers improved performance, safety, and technology features, making it a compelling choice for SUV buyers.

The 2024 Santa Fe's exterior design is characterized by sharp edges, angular lines, and a prominent grille. The front fascia features a new LED headlight design, with daytime running lights that extend to the sides of the grille. The grille itself is larger and more upright, giving Santa Fe a more assertive stance. The side profile showcases Santa Fe's increased length and wheelbase, as well as its new 18-inch or 20-inch alloy wheels. The rear end features a new LED taillight design, with a horizontal light bar that connects the two clusters. The rear bumper also has a new skid plate and dual exhaust tips.

The interior of the 2024 Santa Fe is equally impressive, with a spacious and refined cabin that can accommodate up to seven passengers. The dashboard features a new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. The instrument cluster is also digital, with a 12.3-inch display that can be customized to show various information. The center console has a new shift-by-wire system, which replaces the traditional gear lever with buttons. The Santa Fe also offers a wireless charging pad, a panoramic sunroof, a Harman Kardon premium sound system, and a head-up display.

The 2024 Santa Fe is powered by a choice of two engines: a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 191 horsepower and 181 lb-ft of torque, or a 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that delivers 277 horsepower and 311 lb-ft of torque. Both engines are paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, and either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. The Santa Fe also offers a hybrid and a plug-in hybrid variant, which use a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine and an electric motor to achieve better fuel efficiency and lower emissions.

The 2024 Santa Fe is equipped with a range of advanced safety and driver assistance features, such as forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, lane keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, rear cross-traffic alert, parking sensors, surround-view camera, and more. The Santa Fe also has a new feature called Highway Driving Assist, which can automatically adjust the speed and steering based on traffic and road conditions.

The 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe is expected to go on sale in the first half of next year, with pricing and trim levels to be announced closer to the launch date. The new Santa Fe is a significant improvement over the previous generation, offering a more distinctive and modern design, as well as enhanced performance, comfort, and technology. The new Santa Fe is poised to compete with other midsize SUVs in the market, such as the Toyota Highlander, the Honda Pilot, the Ford Explorer, and the Kia Sorento.
